Emotional Competence Inventory (ECI)
The Emotional Competence Inventory (ECI) is a 360° instrument that assesses the emotional competencies corresponding with the emotional intelligence model introduced in Daniel Goleman's Working With Emotional Intelligence. Emotional Intelligence (EI) is the capacity for recognizing our own feelings and those of others, for motivating ourselves, and for managing emotion as effectively in ourselves and in others. An emotional competence is a learned capability based on emotional intelligence that contributes to effective performance at work.
The Emotional Competence Inventory (ECI) measures the competencies organized into four clusters: Self-Awareness, Self-Management, Social Awareness and Relationship Management. Although each of the ECI competencies is important, an individual may not have to master each to be successful. Depending on your situation, there is a combination of competencies you can use to be effective. An ECI certified coach / facilitator can help identify the competency combinations that have been shown to lead to success.
Outcomes / Gain an understanding of:
How our emotions effect our performance, sense of self-worth and capabilities, and one’s own inner resources, abilities, and limits.
The impact of being flexibility in handling change, readiness to act on opportunities while striving to improve, or meet, a standard of excellence with persistence in pursuing goals, despite obstacles.
How reading a group’s emotional currents and power relationships in important as we sense others’ feelings and perspectives while taking an active interest in their concerns which allows for anticipating, recognizing, and meeting clients’ needs.

Executive Transition Management (ETM) and Succession Planning
Executive Transition Management provides comprehensive executive and organizational transition management services. Unlike typical executive searches, ETM begins with a thorough and inclusive organizational assessment in order to develop an informed Executive Profile. Following a successful executive search, a 3rd phase is provided: post-hire support in the form of coaching, involving the new senior executive, staff members, and, if applicable, the board of directors.
Thoughtful succession planning prepares an organization for leadership transitions; expected or unexpected. A successful leadership transition for a long-term leader requires a lot of up-front effort, whereas a lack of succession planning can result in a post-transition meltdown.
